Hey, I’m Hamid, the creator behind SpunHook.
I’m really happy you’re here.
My story with crochet goes back to someone very special to me: my grandmother. She was one of the people closest to my heart, and crochet was one of her passions. Growing up, I always felt a special connection to her, and those memories stayed with me long after those moments had passed.
For a long time, that little love for crochet, and the feelings attached to it, stayed quietly inside me. I never imagined that one day they would become something I could share with the world.
As crochet continued to grow in popularity and more people began searching for patterns, ideas, and tutorials online, I started to see an opportunity. But for me, it was about more than starting a blog or joining a growing trend. It was a chance to bring that little part of me back to life, to reconnect with the love I carried for my grandmother, and to turn those feelings into something meaningful.
That’s how SpunHook began.
I created this space to share the beauty of crochet with others, making it easier to learn, more enjoyable to practice, and full of
color and inspiration. Whether you’re picking up a hook for the first
time or looking for your next creative project, I hope you find something here that makes you want to create.
